YWS Provides View of Future IR at Asian Gaming Summit

Singapore - (December 8, 2009) — YWS principal Tom Wucherer provided an audience of 150 top hospitality executives a view of the future of Integrated Resorts during this year’s Gaming Executive Summit in Singapore.

Wucherer offered a glimpse of future design principles during his presentation “Designing World Class Integrated Resorts: What can be learned from the past as you design for the future.” As one of the presentations during the Summit, Wucherer reviewed the role of design in the evolution of integrated resorts and identified new trends and emerging developments seen around the world.

“Design principles of IR are converging in generative, adaptive and innovative ways,” said Wucherer. “I have found that the most exciting changes to occur in IR have been ones that have been adapted from outside the hospitality and casino industries and applied in ways that are physical, experiential and, in some cases, virtual. We see tremendous applications of all these assets in the development of new IR projects. In this era of ‘must see’ development, we are elevating this promise by creating ‘must experience’ designs.”
